Born and raised in Milan, Carolina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Universita’ Cattolica, Milan.
Joining the Schulhof Collection in New York in 2012, Caterina focused on Post-War and Contemporary Art. As director and curator of the collection, Carolina maintained strong contacts with collectors, artists, and worldwide institutions, coordinating the donation of over a hundred works from the Estate to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, the Whitney Museum in New York, and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. In 2011, she curated the iPad journal ‘Mir Faberge’ for the London’s Royal Academy of Arts. She is currently working on developing art projects, advising clients and collaborating with private foundations. Her recent book ‘A Life with Artists: Hannelore and Rudolph Schulhof’, was published in 2016 by Rizzoli, Skira.
